Bringing your Kickidler history across
Nobody switches tools if it means abandoning a year of history. Export yours as CSV and the importer maps it onto our columns. There is no dedicated Kickidler preset yet, so expect to line the columns up once rather than not at all.

- There is a live view, and it is deliberately bounded rather than continuous. It is not a recording archive: capture stops when no one is watching, the deny list and blur mode apply to it exactly as they do to scheduled capture, and every viewing is logged and visible to the person being viewed.
- How do I move my Kickidler data into WorkMonitor?
- Export it as CSV and the importer maps it onto our columns — email, date, minutes, project, task, note. There is no dedicated preset for this vendor yet, so the columns get lined up once on the first import. Recordings are not imported, only the time series. If retaining old footage matters for an open investigation, keep the source system until it closes.
- Can WorkMonitor record an employee’s screen continuously?
- No, and that is a design decision rather than a missing feature. If continuous session recording is what your investigations require, the tools built for it are the right answer and this comparison should end there.
- How does WorkMonitor detect policy violations?
- Through anomaly alerts and integrity signals — unusual egress, simulated input, activity that does not match its own claimed proof — surfaced to a person to weigh rather than actioned automatically, with the subject able to see and dispute the finding.
